When I first started making YouTube videos, I was When I first started making YouTube videos, I was a mess. No consistency. No plan. No idea how the algorithm worked. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 

I never would have dreamed that 3 years later, making videos would turn into a business publishing magazines as well as a marketing consultancy. 🤯

This week we launched two online products inspired by big problems we solve over and over again. These products are more accessible than our custom services and will allow us to serve an entirely new market. These 2 products are perfect for new “publish-preneurs” who are just getting started. 🏆

It feels good to see problems and create solutions. Entrepreneurship is so fun that way! 😃

Entrepreneurs who remain focused in their commitment to tackling these issues rather than chasing fleeting social media fame are better poised for results and growth. 

I’ve been giving lots of interviews and speeches recently about how I’ve been able to monetize a small YouTube channel with less than 3,000 subscribers into a six-figure business. People especially love when I break out my receipts and show the screenshots of how I had my first $11,000 week when the channel had fewer than 1,000 subscribers.

Or how within week one of self-publishing my latest book to a relatively small audience, I was able to land recurring high-ticket clients and paid keynote speeches. Again, this is without the support of a publisher or big name behind it.

The lesson I always share is don’t be distracted by vanity metrics. Instead, focus on solving problems for people and being of value to your community. While vanity metrics might provide a momentary ego boost, it's the quantifiable improvements in market impact that truly elevate a business.
