To inspire you, here are 14 ways to monetize a magazine funnel. (I have over 50 ways.)

  • Create advertorials for your new services encouraging signups or trial offers
  • “Stage Swap” a magazine article with someone else who has a show
  • Sell the magazine on your website
  • Interview your top prospects in your magazine to get your “foot in the door”
  • Give away the digital version for free on your website as a lead magnet in exchange for the reader’s email address
  • Follow up with your magazine subscribers with an email drip campaign to your calendar to book people to talk to
  • Create social media posts spotlighting your contributors and ask them to share to grow your audience
  • Send printed copies to your top referral partners to impress them
  • Write articles for the products you love and include your affiliate links
  • Leverage your magazine to get a Media Pass to your favorite conference – provide a write-up in exchange
  • In your networking meeting pitch announce that you are looking for people to interview (who are your best prospective clients)
  • Print a business card with a QR code that goes to your magazine signup optin page
  • Handout your magazine at networking events
  • Print copies of your magazine and bring them with your magazine and leave them behind to impress prospective clients
